Using a qualitative approach and a case study method in Sukabumi Regency, this research explores MSME actors' experiences and perceptions of the policy's implementation. The findings reveal that awareness tends to be administrative rather than ideological due to low halal literacy, limited assistance, and uneven information distribution. Analysis based on policy implementation theory shows that policy success is strongly influenced by implementation structure, problem complexity, and non-statutory factors such as local support. This study concludes that reformulating the implementation strategy through educational, participatory approaches and equitable resource distribution is essential to enhance MSMEs' substantial awareness and participation in halal policy sustainably.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/249 Environmental Management System (EMS): Trends and Research Patterns from a Bibliometric Perspective 2025-07-08T09:20:14+07:00 Ajeng Nurhaliza ajengnurhaliza121@gmail.com
This study aims to explore the development trends and research collaboration patterns in the field of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) using a bibliometric analysis approach. EMS plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable environmental governance and has gained increasing attention in the global academic community over the past decade. The study uses quantitative methods through bibliometric analysis with data obtained from the Dimensions database, focusing on publications from 2021 to mid-2025. A total of 236 relevant publications were analyzed using VOSviewer software to map publication trends, country and institutional collaboration networks, co-authorship patterns, and keyword co-occurrences. The results reveal a significant increase in EMS-related research publications starting from 2021, peaking in 2024. Indonesia emerged as a central actor in EMS research networks, both in terms of publication volume and collaboration strength. Institutions such as the Bandung Institute of Technology and Padjadjaran University were identified as major contributors. Furthermore, the analysis of co-occurring keywords indicates a shift in research focus from structural and technical aspects of EMS towards issues related to policy, implementation challenges, and the role of technology. This study concludes that EMS has evolved into a dynamic and multidisciplinary research area with growing global interest. The strengthening of collaborative networks among researchers, institutions, and countries is pivotal in enhancing the quality and impact of EMS-related research. These findings offer strategic insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to optimize research networks and support more effective and sustainable EMS implementations.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/247 Income Tax Incentives to Increase Zakat Receipt 2025-07-08T09:19:22+07:00 Meri Teja Arum meriteja85@gmail.com
This study is a literature study with descriptive qualitative research type with literature review that seeks to describe examine the structural and implementation challenges in integrating zakat and income tax within a fiscal incentive framework in Indonesia. Although zakat is legally recognized as a deductible from taxable income, its application remains suboptimal. This is evidenced by Indonesia’s low tax ratio and zakat revenues that capture only a small fraction of their potential. The literature reveals that while income tax incentives could theoretically increase zakat collection, they may also reduce overall tax revenue if not properly designed and implemented. The findings emphasize the urgent need for fiscal reform that promotes systemic integration, digital reporting mechanisms, fiscal literacy, and institutional synergy to achieve both social justice and economic welfare.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/246 Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety Guarantees for Workers at Dompet Dhuafa Jakarta 2025-07-08T09:52:09+07:00 Raissya H Dianies K raissyahazra541@gmail.com
Occupational accidents and work-related illnesses remain a serious challenge in Indonesia, including in the
philanthropic sector such as Dompet Dhuafa Jakarta, which plays a vital role in social services. A qualitative approach was applied, with data from the Village Head, KPM, Village Midwife, Community Facilitator, parents of stunted children, and pregnant women. The results showed significant progress in stunting prevention efforts in this village. Communication is well implemented through various channels such as Posyandu, stunting meetings, WhatsApp groups, classes for pregnant women and toddlers, and door-to-door visits. In terms of resources, both human (KPM, midwives, health workers) and material (village fund allocation, provincial assistance, equalization funds, and KPM operations), have been optimally utilized. Disposition shows high commitment from the village head and stakeholders. They actively lead and monitor the program, and are proactive in mentoring and data reporting. This commitment has rubbed off on the community, encouraging them to pay more attention to child and infant nutrition. However, the bureaucratic structure needs improvement. KPM tends to report only midwife data; inaccuracies in this data can lead to misidentification of cases. Intensive coordination between KPM and midwives is needed. Overall, Cilengkrang Village has shown strong dedication in tackling stunting. This success is driven by effective communication, optimal resources, and positive disposition. To achieve Zero Stunting, strengthening coordination and data accuracy in the bureaucratic structure is crucial.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/252 Public Service Quality in Buahbatu District Bandung City 2025-07-21T10:31:13+07:00 angelina khoerunisa Angelinakhoerunnisa12@gmail.com Heri achief1984@gmail.com
Basically, as a public servant, the government must be responsible and capable of providing the best for the community in order to maintain public trust in the government. This study analyzes the implementation of the collaborative penthahelix model in a maggotization program using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae in RW 14, Cipadung Village, Bandung City. Using qualitative methods including in-depth interviews, observations, and literature reviews, this study analyzes the dynamics of interaction among the five penthahelix factors: academia, business, community, government, and media. The results show that the maggot program successfully processed 80% of daily organic waste and benefited 65% of RW 14 residents. Academics played a role in education and technical assistance, the government provided regulations and facilities, the community actively optimized the integrated program, and the media played a role in publicity. However, the business sector has not yet optimized the economic value of maggot products. The study concludes that the collaborative pentahelix model in maggotization shows significant potential for sustainable organic waste management, but requires strengthening the role of the business sector to create sustainable community self-reliance.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/254 Analysis of the Presidential Government Model in Indonesia: Advantages, Disadvantages, and Suitable Alternatives 2025-07-21T10:33:47+07:00 Rani Susanti susantirani43@gmail.com
This study examines the presidential model of government implemented in Indonesia, focusing on its advantages and disadvantages in the context of politics and administration. The Indonesian presidential model, in which the president serves as both head of state and head of government, has advantages such as executive stability, clear separation of powers, and strong leadership. However, this model also faces challenges such as the risk of inter-institutional conflict, concentration of power in the president, and lack of parliamentary accountability. To address these shortcomings, this study evaluates several alternative models of government: the British parliamentary model, the Soviet model, and the traditional model. The British parliamentary model offers advantages such as flexibility in the formation and dissolution of government, as well as direct accountability to parliament, although it has the potential for political instability. The Soviet model, with its centralization of power, can increase decision-making efficiency but risks authoritarianism. The traditional model emphasizes local cultural values and is accepted at the community level, but faces challenges in adapting to the modern context. The results of this study indicate that the British parliamentary model is the most suitable alternative to address the shortcomings of Indonesia's presidential system. This model offers a balance between stability and accountability, and allows for better adaptation to the political and social dynamics in Indonesia. The implementation of the parliamentary model can improve government accountability and flexibility, thereby improving effectiveness and responsiveness to the needs of the community. Thus, the adoption of the parliamentary model can be a strategic step to improve governance in Indonesia.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/253 Evaluation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Cilengkrang Village, Cilengkrang Subdistrict, Bandung Regency 2025-07-21T10:33:04+07:00 fauzi pratama saputra fauzipratamasa28@gmail.com
This study aims to evaluate the Family Hope Program (PKH) policy in Cilengkrang Village, Cilengkrang Subdistrict, Bandung Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of the relationship between the change of education minister and changes in the national education curriculum in Indonesia, identify the impact of frequent curriculum changes due to political dynamics, and explore other driving factors of curriculum changes based on literature review. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this research examines the "change of minister change of curriculum" phenomenon that has become a unique characteristic of the Indonesian education system. The results show that the change of education minister is consistently followed by the initiation of curriculum changes, starting from KTSP 2006, Curriculum 2013, to Merdeka Curriculum 2022. The impacts of these frequent curriculum changes include implementation confusion at the school level, the burden of repeated teacher adaptation and the instability of the education system as a whole. Factors influencing curriculum changes include political considerations, the results of international evaluations such as PISA, the demands of the times and the personal vision of the new minister. This study recommends the need for long-term policy consistency and in-depth evaluation before making curriculum changes.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Social Impact Journal https://journal.goresearch.id/index.php/sij/article/view/263 Political Communication and Candidate Image Construction in Regional Head Elections (Case Study of Sherly Tjoanda's Candidate in The North Maluku Governoral Elections) 2025-07-31T20:44:21+07:00 Dhyanty Purnamasari pdyanthy@gmail.com
This study examines the political communication strategies implemented by Sherly Tjoanda in building her image as a female candidate in the North Maluku gubernatorial election, in a region historically and culturally dominated by male and Muslim leaders.
